I’m a dual-licensed mental health and school adjustment counselor here on the South Shore. I grew up in the area with my parents, younger brother, and variety of pets. I’ve always been very creative and love spending time outdoors trying new activities or traveling. I also enjoy reading and watching mystery/thriller shows!

About me

My Background

I graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2015 with my B.S. in Psychology. A few years later, I decided to go back for my M.Ed in Mental Health Counseling & School Adjustment Counseling. Upon graduating in 2019, I began working as a School Adjustment Counselor at an elementary school in Brockton, where I spent the next four years running social skills groups, providing short-term counseling, and participating in IEP meetings. I loved working with the variety of diverse backgrounds and needs, but I wanted to continue growing and challenging myself with new experiences.

I decided to open Sea & Soul Counseling because of my love for working with kids/teens and my natural ability to connect with this population. I’ve had experience working with kids in different capacities, from being a teacher assistant, babysitting for multiple families in grad school, and working as a camp mental health clinician each summer. I also enjoy helping teens and young adults explore their passions, through identifying educational goals and career paths. My graduate work at BSU allowed me to discover how resourceful I could be in helping others discover careers that were compatible with their lifestyle and personality type.

In terms of my creative side, that’s been around since I was born! I found expressive techniques to be such a helpful outlet for myself growing up, and still use creativity in everything I do. I love how easily it applies to the age groups I work with, making for easy and authentic rapport with my clients.

MY GOALS

Building rapport and trust throughout sessions. The more you feel safe and comfortable, the more we can work with.

I want to help you build skills and challenge old, unhealthy thinking patterns that don’t serve you anymore.

I am a big believer in personal growth, which means I continuously seek resources and trainings to better help you!

I want to help you make sense of your experiences and find meaningful direction in your life.

Success isn’t overnight. It’s when everyday you get a little better than before. It ALL adds up.
